Mark Carney’s combatting antisemitism committee includes the Islamist Omar Alghabra, who called for terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah to be legalized. It also includes notorious lawyer for Jew-haters, Avnish Nanda.
Did I miss something, or did mark carney wait almost 3 years to announce a council chaired by a man who says you should go to prison for quoting the bible if he finds it “hateful” to combat antisemitism?

I have sadly lost hope that there will be any meaningful amelioration in the current federal government's response to the explosion of antisemitism in Canada.
Carney's promise of more committees and studies is a promise of motion without progress.
Carney spoke at a synagogue about Antisemitism three years into a documented crisis. Gunshots into schools. Firebombs into businesses. Effigies of Jews hung in the streets. Full incitement of hatred against Canadians, weekly, in their own neighbourhoods. Terrorists free to roam
